Why doesn't Thomas Shelby eat ? - Peaky Blinders Theory ( NEW )

Since you are here, you probably are a fan of Peaky Blinders. 

So you know what i am talking about. I am sure you already kow about the fact htat the main character, Thomas Shelby is never shown to be eating any food only smoking cigarettes and drinking , not planning to live long i suppose. 

But why doesn't he eat ? There are numerous theories, so i will show you mine.

My Theory is related to a book, The count of Monte Cristo. The books was written by 

Alexandre dumas in 1844.

In short words, the book talks about the revenge of Edmond Tantés, A former sailor who makes all the people who did him wrong to pay for their misconduct. 

And how does this book relate to Thomas Shelby? 

Well, i'm not trying to say that the characters are alike, even though they are a bit, but what i want to show is only this part.  

In this dialogue , take a look at the highlighted parts.

The Character of Edmond Dantés, now known as the Count of Monte Cristo, is not eating at the table of one of his enemies, And this is where my theory takes like.

The TV shows tells us that the Shelby family has Gypsy Heritage, And here we see the part that says :  "You know, mother, M. de Monte Cristo is almost an Oriental, and it is customary with the Orientals to secure full liberty for revenge by not eating or drinking in the houses of their enemies."

So, what do we get, Thomas Shelby, an oriental not Eating at all.. 

Also if we see the show carefully, he is often offered food only from the people he sees as enemies: The Russians, inspector Campbell , Darby Sabini, Alfie Solomons and Others.

This is my Theory about why Thomas Shelby isn't shown to be eating. I mean he must eat he is a human, Kind of .

But all the times he is offered food in front or in the house of his enemy he won't eat.
